Tim's Chili Oil began as a hobby, then a culinary obsession, born from a desire to push flavors further. Tim, drew inspiration from a heritage uniting the smoky, robust heat of the American Southwest with the aromatic, charred profile of East Asian spices. Melding two distinct worlds into a single pantry led to endless testing to achieve the perfect kick.
Our identity, Chino Latino CO, LLC, reflects this harmony of our roots. It serves as a tribute to the diverse heritage behind our blend: Southwest-bred heat, Latin American soul, and Asian precision, blended the American way, in one jar.

Our Story

Tim's Chili Oil is a small-batch condiment built for people who put hot sauce on everything but wanted something with more depth.

This chili oil is a taste of my family's table. Having grown up in a Mexican-Amercian restaurant environment taught me that a great dish starts with bold, honest flavor. My mom's Chinese cooking taught me patience and balance—the kind of care that goes into building layers of flavor from scratch. And my Korean bonus-mom showed me how fire and spice can be their own love language. This recipe is where all of it meets: Southwest chiles for depth, Chinese aromatics and technique for that rich, toasted complexity, and a Korean sensibility for heat that lingers instead of overwhelms. It's not one cuisine's chili oil—it's ours, built from every kitchen I grew up in.

Our Vision

Most chili oils pick a lane — Latin, Asian, one-note heat. Ours doesn't. It's smoky and savory and a little sweet, with real flavor bomb in every spoonful from the chili flake, garlic, and sesame that settle at the bottom of the jar.

No shortcuts, no mass production — every batch is made small, and bottled in person. Because the best condiments don't just add heat — they add flavor you didn't know you were missing.

Whether it's going on eggs, noodles, dumplings, or straight off the spoon (we don't judge), Tim's Chili Oil is here to be the thing you reach for first and take with you everywhere you go.

Logo

The logo is built around the Chinese character 王 (Wong), Tim's Chinese family name, which also means "King." The shaded "T" represents his American name and upbringing. The chili pepper is a nod to his Latin roots.
